For nearly four decades, Chef Mark Alba has lived inside the rhythm of professional kitchens — from the intensity of fine dining restaurants to the disciplined elegance of Five-Diamond luxury hotels.
Over the course of his career, he has opened restaurants, directed multi-million-dollar culinary operations, and led large hospitality teams responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences at scale.
His career includes executive leadership roles at acclaimed properties such as The St. Regis Atlanta’s Paces 88 and the Kimpton Shane Hotel, along with celebrated restaurants including 5Church Atlanta, STK Atlanta, and Fifth Group Restaurants’ Food Studio — the creative development kitchen behind several of Atlanta’s most influential dining concepts.
Chef Alba also spent time with Legendary Events, Atlanta’s premier luxury catering and event production company founded by renowned hospitality leader Tony Conway, where he gained experience executing high-profile private events, luxury weddings, and large-scale hospitality experiences requiring exceptional organization, precision, and culinary consistency.
Chef Alba’s culinary foundation was shaped in elite kitchens such as Canoe — Atlanta’s renowned Mobil Four-Star restaurant — and Midtown Atlanta’s Mediterranean restaurant ENO, where he deepened his understanding of classical European technique, ingredient-driven cooking, and the elegance of Mediterranean cuisine. His early experience also includes Hotel Nikko’s Cassis Restaurant.
